The „Toilet of Venus“ was created in 1885 as a study for
Rodin's legendary but never completed “Gates of Hell”.
The sculpture communicates the extraordinarily powerful
artistic vision of a Venus who has just climbed out of the sea.
A perfectly formed, ideal-turned-into-reality of feminine grace
and sensuality.

Height approx. 45 cm with plinth, produced by the “cire perdue”
technique and with the artist's signature in the casting.
