THE THINKER

“Le Penseur”

One of Rodin's most famous sculptures is the “The Thinker”
from 1880. The sculpture represents Dante Alighieri, the
brilliant creator of the „Divine Comedy“ and here the thinker
who – tense, muscular and turned into himself – ponders
on the actions and fate of mankind.

Height approx. 41 cm with marble base, produced by the “cire perdue”
technique and with the artist's signature in the casting.
